Torsten M. Bassell is a practicing attorney in the Southern California area.  The majority of his practice is devoted to the representation of injured individuals in the Los Angeles area and surrounding communities.  Although Mr. Bassell is licensed to practice law throughout all the courts in California, Mr. Bassell regularly litigates and tries cases in the Los Angeles area.  He knows what it takes in order to ensure that the case is well-positioned for settlement or trial. 

Mr. Bassell is a graduate of Southwestern Law School here in Los Angeles, California.  During his time at Southwestern Law School, Mr. Bassell was a member of the Trial Advocacy Honors Program and obtained victories against numerous trial teams from all over the nation at mock trial competitions.

After graduating, Mr. Bassell began his employment with the prestigious Los Angeles plaintiffs’ firm, Stoll, Nussbaum & Polakov.  While practicing at Stoll, Nussbaum & Polakov, Mr. Bassell was involved in numerous cases involving injuries to individuals in the Southern California area.  The cases ranged from spinal/orthopedic injuries to cases involving the death of individuals due to another's negligence.  While at the firm, Mr. Bassell recovered millions of dollars in settlements, judgments, and verdicts.  Since leaving the firm, Mr. Bassell has continued to vigorously represent his clients by fighting to recover what they deserve.
