Q:        I don’t know if I have a case, what should I do?

A:        Contact us today.  All consultations are free.  You will talk to an experienced attorney immediately.  If for some reason Mr. Bassell is unavailable due to a deposition, court appearance, or trial, then he will return your call or email within 24 hours.

Q:        I have been injured, but I don’t think that I can afford a lawyer.  What can I do?

A:        The vast majority of Mr. Bassell’s work for injured persons is on a contingency fee basis.  That means that you do not pay anything unless there is a recovery in your case.  It is likely that you do not need to pay anything up front in order to get your case underway.  Further, all consultations are free so you can discuss the costs of any representation immediately with Mr. Bassell without any cost to you or your family.

Q:        I am concerned that pursuing a claim or case will put too much stress on myself and my family.  Is it even worth pursuing a claim?

A:        In the end, this is a question that you and your family will have to answer themselves.  However, after being retained, Mr. Bassell will handles all aspects of your case from inception to conclusion.  All correspondence with insurance companies or others will go through Mr. Bassell.  Mr. Bassell will handle all aspects of your case, and the burden and stress on your family should be minimal at best.

Q:        How long does a case take?

A:        It varies.  Some cases can resolve as fast as one-month after representation begins.  Others will have to be litigated and may take longer.  Regardless, Mr. Bassell will vigorously advocate for you and your family so that your case is resolved as soon as possible.  Also, new fast-track rules in the Los Angeles court system require that cases go to trial after filing the lawsuit within 12-18 months, ensuring resolution within that time frame.  Finally, quicker resolution will often happen by early involvement in a case.  There is investigation and other matters that must be done quickly in order to improve one’s chances of recovery.  It is therefore important to contact Mr. Bassell early on so that he can take the precautions necessary to push your case towards early resolution.
